British Embassy in France

With only the narrow English Channel (or as the French call it: La Manche, or “The Sleeve”) separating the UK and France, it may come as no surprise that the British Embassy in Paris is one of Britain’s biggest embassies in the world. The UK also has many citizens who travel, live and work across the channel in France – meaning there are several British embassies located across the country in Lille, Paris, Bordeaux, Lyon and Marseilles.

While travellers hope they never need to use the services offered by their embassy, it’s still good to keep a list handy of contact information for all of the British Embassies in France. If you’d like more specific information about services and programs offered by the embassy, check out the British Embassy’s UK in France Web site.
