I would like to know if there is any bus which goes to Marseille from Paris… I am looking for booking train from Paris but all the tickets are too high…

Hi John,

After checking the website for the Lyon bus station, the only three bus lines that go there are the aforementioned Eurolines, the bus to the airport in Lyon, and Line Bus (http://www.linebus.com/), which only seems to go to Spain.

Hi Rachael,

As I mentioned, there are no major bus companies operating within France. Each department has their own lines, and within those departments many times individual towns or groups of towns have their own bus lines. It would be quite an undertaking to report on every single one of them! Your best bet is to ask the tourist center, train station info desk or, if in doubt, a local cafe to get the skinny on bus lines.

There’s even a guy with his own shuttle bus who goes to pick up my friend in her village, and residents of neighboring villages, to get to the stores! Don’t think he even has a website .
